I had the unpleasantness of crossing this border twice, both sides. Each time there was some problem. The officers didn't recognize the Polish passport (written \POLAND\ at the top and they ask me \where are you from?\), kept asking me about the purpose of my visit, what, why, how, and where. I certainly recommend passing the border on foot, shorter waiting time, less questions. My second time passing the border here (by car) the officer told me to get out of the car (upon inspecting my passport) and go to talk with him in his office, where he basically interrogated me if I'm not some Polish agent intending to overthrow the government, asking about a lot of different personal things. Ukrainian officers are much worse on the Polish border though.
